Description

This is for my framework based on MS Visual C++ 6 and DirectX8 (init of Window, Dx8 and texture-blit function with color keying is already implemeted). I need a particle-system with can simulate basic elements like explosions, waterfountain and fireworks, maybe fire.

I have graphic demos (one with source) which give good examples. With that effect I need several parameters so that I can define different looking presets auch as speed, number of particles, different shapes. The best person to create this is someone who did already a particle system. I will provide a DOC with more explanations and definitions of parameters.

particle system examples:

No external libraries as NET, SDL, OpenGL, DX9 etc should be used, I really must be able to compile it at the described settings: DirectX8.1 SDK, MS Visual C++6, running within my Graphics-Framework as sent. This Effect must be inserted into the wrapper class which is already implemented into the Framework. I add to the payment: credits in my program I will release later if the programmer wants that.

I have done particle system for tycoon-style game project, you can see it in action on screenshots here: http://www.artillery.sk/pic/p1.jpg http://www.artillery.sk/pic/p2.jpg http://www.artillery.sk/pic/p3.jpg It has wide range of parameters, and is used to simulate smoke, clouds, fire, dust, etc. I think I can write similar particle system for your framework.
