We are looking for a tool which recognizes user controls on non standard forms

A tool shall be finally developed for recognizing user controls on a form. This sounds simple, but the tool must support non-standard forms and controls - for example:

- SAP GUI forms
- java forms
- outlook forms
- Adobe entry forms
- Siebel forms
- Peoplesoft forms
- Navision forms
- etc

The tool will be given such a form with some controls on it, and the tool must identify text boxes, buttons, check- and option-boxes, listboxes and comboboxes. Nice to have: Recognition of scroll controls (arrows) and tabs on a tabbed control.
Beneath identifying the controls, the tool shall surrender the measurements of the controls, and make 2 proposals for an identification of the controls. These proposals can be the caption of a button- or an option control, or the text of a label control that seems to belong to a text input control or list/combo-box, or it can be a tool tip that pops up above the control, or something else that might give the sense of the control. The more proposals, the better.

On finishing, the tool shall provide an xml text with its recognition results, something like this (see attached file)

How this recognition is performed, is up to you. You might try to make a graphical analysis (e.g. white boxes inside grey background) or something else suitable.

The tool should be usable as universally as possible.
