Skillprover are looking for talented Test Authors/Compilers who have at least 5 years experience in the following skill test area:-

WINDOWS WIN32 AND COM / COM+ PROGRAMMING

The task is to write a technical skill test of which consists of just 10 questions each with 5 multiple choice answers. Here are the characteristics of this test:-

5 Multiple Choice Answers (MCAs) for each question
Strength must be difficult.

The test must encompass questions divided into the following THEMES with the number of questions in brackets:-

WIN32 - 5 Questions
COM / COM+ - 5 Questions

All questions in each theme MUST be Multi-Select, i.e. where there are several correct answers. The sentence “Tick all that apply” must be at the end of the question text only for the questions. Vary the number of correct answer options from question to questions; from a minimum of 2 correct answers to all 5. Here is a hypothetical example:

Which of the following are valid intrinsic data types in C? Tick all that apply
a) Byte
b) Integer
c) int
d) Long
e) char

Although c) and e) are correct, it represents a question with 2 correct answers. BUT, you wouldn't be writing questions this easy!

SCENARIO BASED QUESTIONS

Please - no questions which only asks about the parameters of API calls. Instead, high-quality questions about scenarios of coding using Win32 on Windows platforms. Likewise with COM, use a scenario approach.

Feel free to use a COM or Win32 bible to build your line of questioning.

Bear in mind that the Test Taker will have approximately 40 seconds to read and answer each question. Each question must be realistically answerable within this time frame.

Test compilation is done online and a link will be provided. This is an easier task than you think. Writing 10 questions from good reference material can take only a couple of hours.

Remember, whatever you bid, the price to pay for this compile job is fixed at US$50. I can only accept authors at this rate.
