Description

Three small easy parts:

Part 1:
An existing Exchange 2000 / 2003 MAPI Exchange Server connector that sends and receives fax images is the basis from which an Exchange 2007/2010 hub transport needs to be created. The API to the host fax server, image rendering, and other services in the existing connector is available by reviewing the existing MAPI Exchange connector source code (source provided to bid winner). The hub transport service uses Active Directory to resolve the target Exchange mailbox for inbound delivery and uses AD to resolve which fax server account is to be used to send outbound messages. The hub transport basically is basically a conduit for inboung and outbound Exchange server mail messages that are translated to and from faxes. Existing MAPI connector does all of this, so sample source is available for this project for reference and reference for expectation.

Part 2:
A separate binary is invoked by our installer which detects the environment and installs the appropriate components. This would need to be expanded from detecting Exchange 2000 and 2003 to also detecting 2007 and 2010 and install the additional components where applicable.

Part 3:
Testing of the newer modules. :-)
