We need a World of Warcraft realm lost changer for our private servers.

The program can be in C++ or Visual Basics. It needs to be able to change the server IP address in a “realmlist.wtf” file that is located in the world of Warcraft main folder directly. And then lt needs to launch the wow.exe

Basically we need the program to display our servers and they can choose which server to play and it will change the realmlist.wtf file with the correct IP and start up WoW.

We also need the option for each server to be able to be mapped out to a different directory of where World of Warcraft is installed. We also need the browser to be able to update the servers / Server IP addresses if we make any changes. Example: It grabs the latest IPs / Servers from a URL like wow-sexy.net/servers.txt or something like that. (I’m not sure what can be done)

People need to also be able to add servers to the browser.

Example of the basic layout.

Server Name IP Address Mapped Location

(Something like that, Sorry that’s a very quick idea)


The file it needs to edit when they select the server is Realmlist.wtf Here is an example of what the file contains.

set realmlist 75.128.99.199

And the exe that is launched is wow.exe

The interface needs to be easy and simple (Nothing super fancy) We can provide any graphics needed. Something that’s appealing and looks professional.

The project needs to be completed as soon as possible. (If you can give an estimated date / time frame for completion it would help a lot)

I can provide any information needed, I’ve never used this service before so looking for an experienced user with good feedback.

MySQL Server can be provided if needed for server IP updates ect.
