Description

I regularly get a bot hitting my website.
The bot always has a different ip address and hit's too fast for me to block it.
it's not really an issue in terms of running the site, but it really messes up my stats.
I want to delete any info relating to these ip addresses from my log files.
Now i should think that this could be done in a stand alone vb file, where if it finds a specific string in the log file, it will delete the entire row. the other alternative is writing an excel macro that will delete the entire row where that ip address is found. I'm attaching a copy of the file in question and it's obviously 80.59.105.39 that is the bot.
if you are going to do it through excel, obviously copy and paste from the file.
I suppose my ideal solution would be a standalone programme that i can just feed the files through.
This is not a big or complicated project and i would expect the winning bid to have something for me within the next few hours.
