Hi, I'm an experianced C++ programmer and have worked with these sort of projects (involving digital graphics processing). I will be able to build you a software that will let you open and save files in PCX and TIFF format (I can also provide support for other formats if you want) . It will allow you to perform basic image editing, cropping scaling,rotating, resizing, adjusting brightness/contrast/etc. The software will also have the ability to process images in large scale ( ie. If u have a folder containing 1000 PCX files, u can ask the software to open each file in the folder, do some processing , lets say, crop and scale the image to a pre-determined size, adjust its brightness, etc, and then save the files to another folder in TIFF format. So, u get 1000 PCX files opened, processed and saved in TIFF format, without having to open each file seperately. The software does it for u. ) The software can be designed in a simple command-line interface , or (if u want me to do so) in a cool but user-friendly GUI interface. I will provide necessay documentation and user-manuals with the software which would be both simple and easy-to-understand. Finally, this software will not consume too much resources (ie. processing power and memory). You should be able to set the software up for a job on a typical PC with 1GHz processor / 256 MB RAM and not notice that an extra application is running in background. With Regards, ProgramminGuru
