Hi there,I need a Freelancer to start with an existant Excel spreadsheet and change it so it can make more complex calculations searching data in an external CSV sheet.
I'm not an Expert in Excel or programming, so i need someone that knows very well to work with calculations in Excel or any other calculations program or software, or even a programer that can program the same situation using the CSV data and make complex calculations.
After contact by the freelancer, i can explain a little better the work, we can agree the price at that time.
So i hope this can be a win/win situation for you and me, so we can do more works in the future, this will be the first work for now, and if everything runs well i will get you much more works.
Below is a little descritpion of the work to do.
I'm sending you the Excel sheet and CSV file and a JPG file i have created and from what i want you start and understand, it's not a complicated spreadsheet, but it must be able to do several calculations so it can give diferent results and colors in each cell automatically.
The bars.jpg it's an example of what it is a financial bar, each vertical black bar, as a small left trace that it's called the "OPEN" of the bar, at the right of the bar is also a small trace that it's called the "CLOSE" of the bar, and the "HIGH" of the bar is the top of the bar and the "LOW" of the bar is the bottom
of the bar.
So the rule is everyday that the bar of the 10:30 closes it opens a new one and that new one will open with a quotation (example anterior bar close at 1403,75 and open the new bar at 1403,50) this new bar will generate a Buy or a Sell order in the market following this next calculations:
Number one - At the bar of 10:30 in the line 7 at the CSV file if the CLOSE is below of the OPEN is a SELL order at the next open bar at line 8 in CSV file.
Number two - At the bar of 10:30 in the line 7 at the CSV file if the CLOSE is above of the OPEN is a BUY order at the next open bar at line 8 in CSV file.
Then you apply the diferent Take Profits (20 points) and Stop Losses (12 points)for example in each column in each Exit systems and cells, and calculate the maximum points HIGH and the minimum points LOW in each cell with diferent colors like it is in the example spreadsheet.
The data in the CSV file is the following:
Date of the bar,
Hour of the close bar,
OPEN of the bar,
HIGH of the bar,
LOW of the bar,
CLOSE of the bar.
The spreadsheet is for testing systems or strategies in the Financial markets like Dow Jones, Nasdaq,
S&P 500 and so on, Forex, etc,,,,.
I have a thid party software that exports the data in CSV of real time quotations (prices) from the markets and from it i want the Excel or any other program makes the calculations so it can know if it's a sell or buy, calculates the take-profits and stop-losses and put in the spreadsheet the High of the financial bar, the Low of the bar and the Close of the bar using several Exits like described in the Excel sheet.
I know this may seems a little complicated at the begining for persons outside of the financial markets, but i will explain you everything thru my MSN or using my skype calling to your mobile
phone or fixed line so we can take all doubts for the work.
Please if you can improve the presentation of the spreadsheet, ideas will be welcome, inclusive of graphic lines, drawings updating day by day how is going the trading in the markets in a diferent spreadsheet or program.

The spreadsheet and formulas must be open-source to change it later with new data, and cells must be able to change anytime with new values because there will be several diferent parameters to apply later on the sheet.
