Barcode via RS232 it is simple to do... As I know, the USB readers has the same property as keyboard (maybe there are a barcode readers which emulate a COM port, but I don't know that types)...DB connection is simple too. I don't know what You mean about the wireless barcode readers...please send a type of that reader To sum it up. I can prepare a windows application in Free Pascal (Lazarus). I have application which has the same property, but there is reading barcode of package and product, then get data from DB via ODBC, then the value of weight is compared with a measured weight from weight indicator (electronic weight unit e.g. AXIS)...At the end there is printed a label with a bardcode on ZEBRA printer

Hello Mr.Petevk I use C++ language,there is my expertize. The project consists of some parts - interfacong with databases,parsing files and communicating through rs232.I have worked with either.With databases I worked when created a system for global positionning -it took coordinates from mySql database(ODBC and MFC recordset class).With RS232 and CSV formats I have worked to create system which communicates to controllers and saves/readsinitializing info in/from CSV files. I will need commands that scanner sends after scanned and commands that need to be sent to it,if you select my bid.I can find them in internet if you provide something to be searced.Anyway this info is essential.
