I've made many custom access databases and applications. all your requirements can be fullfilled with access as it contains a fuill programming language. other languages are needed only when you need to have more than 20 workstations accessing the application. for the pda access, you'll need to setup a server with remote desktop functionalty (can be virtualized). all windows mobile devices have an embedded terminal server client to access to it. of course, the size of the forms will need to be adapted to the screen resolution of the device. a 320x200 pixels resolution allows about 6 textboxes to be shown. there is also a report generator in Access, it's very versatile. if conbined with powerfull queries, it can print anything.

Hi, I have looked into this project and its not hard for me to understand it. I already for an organisation where we have this retail business we enter customer info and order details. I have already designed a VB.net and SQL application to use on day to day bases. Although I know Access etc but I will prefer to work in Sql server and VB.net. I will guide you how to install SQL server on your machine too. Using SQL server will mean your program will run much faster. Except 1 or 2 I have done most of the these things in real life. I have seen your access database which I will convert to SQL server. Will try to use your existing idea so you understand too. Thanks
