Description

We need a kind of survelliance software, that will be running every now and then on our workstations. Basically, the software will run the webcam and offer a few various inputs. We require the following:

System requirements:
- Work on windows xp/vista, and detect webcam

Software options:
- be able to chose video or image sequence, where the sequence is based on a set time interval
- be able to chose where to save the data
(compression don't have to an option, we can discuss a method that will always be used)

- the software will run in the background, with an icon in the right part of the task bar (think it's called system tray). By right click on this icon, the menu with (activate/deactive) and (options) will appear. To go into options, a password will be required.
- the option window will then show "save data in folder", and also "movie/image" and if image is chosen "interval in seconds". If windows offer some kind of stanard options window for calibrating the webcam, a link to this can be inlcuded as well.

Password, icon for the system tray etc wil be provided at a later stage.

This software will only be used within the business, it will not be shared/sold to third parties.

We are an Automtion & Engineering company doing Embedded Electronics projects as well as providing PLC integration for plants and Re-automation of machines on newer PLCs. For embedded systems, we work with Atmel microcontrollers (conventional 8052 as well as AVR devices).
