Description

I want to give my kids a way to want to do math (both addition, subtraction and multiplication and addition. I occassionally write out my own spreadsheet with a KEY a=24, B=1,C= 48, R=36, K=k ETC ETC
Then I will have a sentence ____ ____ ____ _____ (this will be the word bark)

3*4 6*4 6*6 2*5

So the kids have to figure out each problem's answerto get the letters to make the words. It takes me forever to put it together though. I would the program to let me write out the message first- (e.g. "Look under the pillow in dads room". Set the range of the math solutions. (e.g. 1-5 (for my 5 year old, very simple, 1-100, 50-500, or 1-10000, etc); choose the the type of math problems problems to generate those solutions(multiplication, addition, subtraction, division are combo of both). and then generate the "treasure hunt" message sheet with the ____ and the problem beneath.

Thed problem just has to generate a word document to print with the "message" and the corresponding key. You don't have to just use 26 letters. A could be 12 and it could also be another number and another number. That way the kids aren't trying to use process of elimination.
