Description

I have a very simple iPhone Application that I need created based off one of my websites. I am truly looking for a long term relationship because I have a bunch of iPhone apps in my mind... I am looking for someone who has created iPhone apps and has proof of their previous products. (I would also like to do Blackberry, Android, etc. type apps, but we can discuss this in the future).

I own the website BookMe.com. If you go to the website, you will see a travel search widget on the top left portion of the website. I will need an iPhone application that will simply allow users to click a BookMe icon on their menu, which will then display this search widget on the iPhone app. Users will be able to fill out all the pertinent information for their travel needs, click "Search and Save" and be taken to the following page that will have a specific amount of logos (this all will happen automatically). Then the user will be able to click any of those logos, which will open up the website in a new pop-up window... this new pop-up window will display the search results for the search criteria the user has selected for that given website. For instance, if the user wants to search for a flight from Miami to Washington DC, he will enter "MIA" in the "From" box and "WAS" in the "To" box. He will select his dates and then click Search and Save. If on the next page, he clicks the logo for Orbitz, it will take him automatically to the search results on Orbitz.com for the search he chose. Again, this all happens automatically. The only things I am going to need created is:

1. Get this applications on running so that when a user clicks on the icon on their menu it automatically opens the widget that allows them to enter their search criteria.

2. Once they click a logo, the search results will open in a new page. You're going to need to somehow create some sort of browser-like software that all of this activity will be contained within. The reason for this is because we need some sort of manner by which the user will be able to go back and forth between windows. As such, once a user clicks a logo, we will have two windows... the first window is the screen that contains the actual widget and the second window will be the pop-up that has search results on the site... But after the user clicks to open the second window, he will be on the second window and we are going to need some sort of mechanism to allow users to scroll back and forth between the windows. So I would love to have some sort of tabs either on the top or the bottom of the window that says "Home" and "Tab 1" "Tab 2" etc. The user will be able to scroll back and forthto different windows, and will be able to click an X to close the tabs as well.

User MUST be connected to the internet to do this. I'm not all too familiar with the technology behind iPhone apps, but I am aware of Push Technology which I believe keeps an IP open at all times so that user always is connected to the net. I'm not sure if something like this is necessary for this application, but I want to make sure this will work quickly, efficiently, and seamless.

This is a very simple app. But I also have a bunch more other apps I would like to get going immediately after this, so if I like your work, I may want to keep you as my long-term iPhone app coder.
