Description

Below is the problem explained, what I want you to do is tell me what you would do to solve this problem. The solution with the best price and solution will win this project. Also timeframe is important.

Details:
I am running ubuntu 9.04 with vnc server running. So I have IRC, firefox and rtorrent open.

Details explained:
In IRC links are provided to new torrents. In firefox I have the torrent site open, so the cookies are already saved and no need to login. And rtorrent is running.

The problem:
The problem I have is, I am not at the computer all the time. And I want this to be automatic. Once the link is provided in IRC, I want to be able to download the torrent file from that webpage and then have it automatically added to rtorrent.
In some instances, I will not be able to download the torrent. So in those cases I want to be notified someway, preferably email.
