Description

I need a simple window GUI that is able to log into a dell switch bank via telnet and upload scripted commands OR place commands in a *.conf file and upload to running config.

The script will be built by you. I may provide all commands needed.

The goal of this GUI it to create and modify VLANS on the switch.
It must also be for the NON- technical.
I.E. – ports will be in groups assigned to offices
Ports 1/21-1/33 is in office 400 (and Vlan tag 400)
So then the user may have a GUI that say office 400 on/off, or change to public (VLAN tag 20)
That’s it. It’s that simple. And a show all command.
That’s it.
The GUI should have a windows look, folders for the groups on the left side and options and output on the right side.

this also needs to be done quickly.

Is it a PowerConnect command list? If so, we could create a "virtual" telnet/ssh which will send/retrieve any command lists from the customized Windows UI application we will develop. This virtual telnet/ssh will connect directly to your PowerConnect device over telnet/ssh connection. One question: is your UI need to know the current status of virtual LAN?
