Description

We need a custom Bluetooth application written that uses any commercially available Bluetooth adaptor(adaptor of the developers choice, currently we use Kensington Micro dongles) to receive microphone input from three Bluetooth headsets at the same time. This will require three simultaneous SCO channel connections (Bluetooth Headset Profile) which should be possible according to the Bluetooth spec. Currently none of the commercially available Bluetooth stack (Widcomm, Toshiba, ect) management programs allow more than one simultaneous Bluetooth headset connection.

The project deliverable will be a VS2005 project with only one form that will have 9 buttons:
"Pair Channel 1", "Pair Channel 2", and "Pair Channel 3"
"Connect Channel 1", "Connect Channel 2", and "Connect Channel 3"
"Disconnect Channel 1", "Disconnect Channel 2", and "Disconnect Channel 3"
And three picture boxes, one for each channel, which display the signals from the Bluetooth headset microphones.

For each channel, when the “Pair” button is pressed the program will bring up a yes/no message box that says “Pair and Connect to [device name] on Channel [channel number]” for each available headset (that is in pairing mode). If "Yes" is clicked the program will automatically pair with the pairing code "1234" (or whatever your default headset device pairing code is). Once paired the program should connect using the Bluetooth Headset profile and automatically start reading the microphone input and displaying the waveform in the corresponding picture box. The frame size should be set so that the updates happen approximately every 30 ms or less. If processing delays occur, old data packets should be dropped and the latest data packet should be processed (displayed) immediately. The graphic display of the signals should be optimized to minimize resource usage.

The user should then be able to disconnect the individual headsets, then reconnect (not re-pair) to
individual headsets with the “Connect” button (the application must remember the Bluetooth address of the headset paired on that channel).

Winning bidder must have access to three Bluetooth headsets for testing. Please don’t even think about bidding this project if this might be a problem.

PLEASE ONLY BID ON THIS PROJECT IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS COMPLETED PROJECTS AND FEEDBACK.

Hi, this is interesting BT task. I have some experience in BT app development. yes. you are right, no BT stack which allows simultaneous connections. But curently I am finishing one project: app scanns BT devices and send file to everyone. It works at least for 3 devices in parallel. I use MS stack. We can discuss your project in details. Regards,

Hi, I am professional Bluetooth devloper and working on it since last 4 years. i have some doubts regarding project. as much as i understand, you want to connect multiple handset over Microsoft stack. do you have HS/HF (audio) driver or u want to implement it? this is possible but need the clarification on above point.
