Description

We are looking for a Windows desktop backup/restore application to be developed that will accommodate the following:

1)Ability to copy files to/from a SFTP server.
2)Must use Volume Shadow Service (VSS) to copy open files.
3)Must be able to schedule backups (run as a service or tray icon) as well as “Backup Now”.
4)Must run on Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, and Windows Vista x86. Vista x64 should be able to run the x86 version.

***Any other versions of Windows or operating systems are a PLUS***

Other Items:
1)We would like this application delivered within 7-14 days. Many users will run this application. Once the application has been developed, the vendor must relinquish all rights, source code and ownership to this project.

2)Vendor will NOT be allowed to:
A)Use existing work in their portfolio’s
B)Maintain, resell, or reuse our source code and/or application.

3)If any existing objects, modules, source, etc. is used it must be royalty free and/or open source and must adhere to any included licensing agreement. Do not use anything that requires periodic fees.

4)Vendor must have a solid grasp of the English language and be able to understand and communicate fluently.

5)Communications can be done via Email, IM, and skype/telephone (if preferred).

Please provide the following when bidding:
1)Language the proposed application will be written in.
2)Realistic timeframes for completion.
