Description: I need a simple desktop application - mp3 to midi converter. Features: user selects an mp3 file - the file is loaded into program and displays with waveform like in SoundForge - then user selects some area in the wave and applies some MIDI effects like different instruments - then converts this part of song into MIDI file and saves it on computer. I will provide the interface design, you just need to program it.

Hi, I can start writing that application, but before need to know, what special effect are needed. Generally, I'm familiar with MIDI file format as far as with Windows media interface, so can deal with that program.. However, different output qualities are possible (like one/two/more instrument recognition). What exactly do you need?
