Description

We're in desperate need for a program that will comunicate with a remote database and find out which items are out of stock and then use this information to update a second database based in mysql.

Updating the mysql database is the easy bit, here comes the difficult bit -

The first database does not belong to me, it belongs to my supplier. I do have access to it though using a cd catalogue that they have provided me using a username and password. My thoughts had been to see if there is a way to capture what method is used to comumicate with this server and then use the same way to run an automated check to find out what's in stock and what's not?
