Description

Greetings,

I am looking for some C code for a dsPIC60F14A which is managing a hydroacoustics sensor system (transmitter and receiver). The hardware side of this system is complete and needs to interface with the dsPIC. The following operations must be performed.

-drive a Mosfet driver @ 1 MHz to create an acoustic signal
-perform a 12 bit ADC on a signal coming from a sample and hold amplifier (highest conversion speed possible) and store the data with precise arrival time in the internal memory
-the key to system operation will be its timing. There are 7.37 MHz clock and 32.768 kHz external timers to work with. The dsPIC must trigger PWM to drive the MOSFET at a certain point, complete the transmission and then change to receiver mode. The sample and hold amp must be flipped to HOLD at a specific time and held long enough for the ADC to perform a full conversion (it would miss a 1 MHz signal otherwise).

Clearly, this is not a one step project and will require collaboration in order to get the system running.

Schematics and board layouts (which will give more specifics on what needs to be done) will be provided after a quote has been accepted.
