I require a freelance C++ programmer to code the mathematical formula of a proven and very successful technical financial indicator which will run in Metastock as an external dll. It is not a problem if you do not have the Metastock Developer's Kit so long as you can code the formula in C++. The formula cannot be coded in Metastock's own formula language because the language doesn't support looping. Full details of the mathematical formula will be supplied, together with illustrations of its functioning. I can also supply an Excel macro which has been created of the mathematical formula/indicator. I need this indicator to run in Metastock because it is no longer convenient to use the Excel macro.

This work is part of a larger project on volume weighted average price studies which is currently being published in the trading journal Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities (parts 1 and 2 are appearing in September and October 2008). If possible, I'd be happy to give the programmer and/or his/her company exposure at the end of the magazine article provided the editor would be in agreement.

Ideally I'd need the work completed in August of 2008, the sooner the better.

This should be a very quick clean job for someone who is experienced in C++.

At present, I am selecting the "very small project" option, but this could be a "small project" budget requirement. So if you're interested, please don't let the "very small project" designation put you off.
