Description

I have an existing Borland C++ Builder (2006) application than needs an enhancement.

The system is a very simple one and manages a yearly stocktake. A minor change needs to be made to the existing reports (2).

They currently work fine (reporting to the printer). The user wants the report to go to a text file.

All you need to do is modify the report setup (Rave) so that there is an option to "Save as" a text file.

This would involve minor changes to the code to remove pagination, etc.

The program must compile and work in Borland Development Studio 2006.

The systems runs on a mysql database, however no changes to the screens are required, just this functionality to the report.

The report uses the Rave component that comes with Borland Development studio, but is written in code, not as a separate standalone report.

This is a very easy job for the right person. Source code will be supplied as well as a dump of the mysql database for testing purposes.

Your requirement seems to be very easy. I have worked for more than 3 years in Borland C++. According to me, there needs to be very less modifications in the existing code as per your description. I can give the "save as" txt option in your application for the report. Thanks.
