Description

In a nutshell, we'll need a website where our clients, who have purchased our GPS hardware, to log in and see the data about their vehicle fleet (location, speed, etc...) as well as send out special functions like vehicle immobilizer. We don't care what language, database, or platform the software is developed in, but of course it needs to function well in the online environment.

Here are the requirements for the software. Hardware has already been selected and will provide details when needed:

1) It has to be able to accommodate our digital map in either of the
following formats:
a) MapInfo TAB (filename.tab)
b) MapInfo MIF/MID (filename.mif)
c) ESRI Shape (filename.shp)

2) The software must be accessible through the web by multiple users.

3) The software must be able to do the following:
a) real-time tracking via GPRS
b) geo-fencing
c) speed monitoring
d) work hours
e) engine idle time
f) distance traveled
g) over speed alert
h) SMS alerts
i) summarized, customizable reports
j) customizable digital inputs
k) customizable analog inputs (i.e. door sensor, trunk sensor)
l) battery cut off alert
m) vehicle immobilizer

Please provide past experiences and works, as well as some details about how you plan to develop the software (including time frame and support terms.) Do not bid if you don't have past experiences with GPS software.
