Description

I am trying to create a donation website designed for users to donate to Charities, Projects, other People and Causes. Please look at www. your cause .com for what I am looking for exactly with all the features and design idea. A charity is the physical non-profit organization. A cause is the purpose the founder and charity supports.

When a member donates by paypal or credit card, there should be a 5% tax-deductible processing fee that is deducted from the donation. Users can choose to cover this fee by adding 5% to your donation amount. This fee is used to pay banks, credit card companies and other administrative costs. This is the same system GAF uses when you make deposits. Donors can also select monthly subscription-based donations for the organization of their choice. So there will be an option to select a one-time donation or a recurring weekly, monthly, semi-annual, annual subscription based donation.

Other features will include Sponsor-based channels for Media Partners. Media partners sell sponsorship of their channel, and we revshare in the revenue. When nonprofits sell sponsorship of their profile, we revenue share with them.

For nonprofits, the opportunity is to make revenue by adding sponsors (including links and logos) to their profile which is optional. If they choose to use this service, nonprofits must charge a minimum of $100 per sponsor (limit of 6 sponsors per profile) and share the revenue with us (75-25 split). Again, participation in this aspect of our service is entirely optional and sponsorships are revshared based. Users/organizations can ask for weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannually, annual recurring sponsorships. The sponsorships can be in the form of having a profile thumbnail link (similar to featured profile on myspace), or a link to their site (with no-follow tag) or a logo. Sponsor can choose all 3 options or just 1 or 2.

However the donor system is free minus the 5% admin/processing costs. The idea of the site is to give potential donors a site to search, select and fund nonprofit organizations’ specific “wishes”. Nonprofits can tell their specific “Wish Story” using
pictures, words, video and audio. After they’ve received donations and put them to use, the nonprofits can show the donors the impact of their donations. Causes and profiles can be tagged.

There should be a chart system of the profiles of the highest contributing donors based on the amount they donated as well as the organization charity / people / projects with the highest number of donations given to them.

Every nonprofit can also have an option to recruit volunteers via the site. Users can search and find nonprofits looking for volunteers in their local city areas, ZIP code, interest area, and/or keyword.

The site should have all the elements of a social networking site where users and nonprofits can create job listings, cause-based groups, volunteer opportunities, and RSVP based events with donation-based ticketing. Users/organizations can select the rate of the event donation-based tickets and be paid via the site or they can select the option where donors can determine the donation amount.

Users can:

Sign: receive daily alerts with new opportunities matching their interests, create a personal profile to network with other users/organizations.

Share: invite friends and colleagues to join the site or virally distribute videos by embedded code (like Youtube), RSS podcasts, RSS blogs and RSS articles. There should also be an article/blog/news section like www. just causeit.com Also videos, articles, blogs can be placed in categories and tagged with keywords that can be searched on the site.

Post: list their organization / project cause on the site and post opportunities, program information, events

Join: find or start a Cause Group to connect with others

Link: display content from the site on other websites (viral marketing)

Shopping - i would like a shopping area of affiliate links in various categories and when a user clicks over, the link will be put in an iframe. Please look at www. nonprofit shoppingmall.com

So basically this should be a mixture of Just Cause, Youtube/Myspace neworking with user accounts and profile descriptions, NonProfit Shopping Mall and Just Cause It with the additional feature of revshare in sponsorships.

Only serious bidders and service providers that can finish in a timely manner. ETA of the project is 45 days max. Weekly updates a must. 20% down with escrow and paid when 20% is seen done. The rest again will be delivered with escrow as project progresses. No exceptions. As you can see from my ratings, there is no issue with me delivering.
