Description

I have a Joomla based front-end to an existing Tomcat/Servlet application, where both systems currently have independent authentication mechanisms. I need to integrate the systems such that:

1) The Joomla accounts are seamlessly transferred to the account management system of the Tomcat/Servlet application at creation time

2) The Joomla accounts shall be extended with custom fields from the user profiles of the Tomcat/Servlet application.

3) The user should automatically be authenticated on the Tomcat/Servlet application (bypass the login screen of the Tomcat/Servlet).

4) The user can access any page of the servlet directly from links in the Joomla frontend (shown in iFrames), or can launch the servlet application in a new windows.

No payments in advance, use of the GAF.com escrow system required.

This should be an easy task for an experienced Tomcat/Servlet developer, please do not bid unless you have that experience.
