Description

Website design should closely resemble AMTRAK.COM as a reference. Simple clean design.

I need a logo designed for the site as well.

Website name: HIGHWAYATLAS.COM

Attached is a very simple & basic site layout for a 800x600 site. It is broken down into where I expect the site functions to end up.

FEATURES REQUIRED:
* Scripting to allow users to sign-up, self-added to user database after email validation

* User must be able to save items from displayed items from a database into "FAVORITES" under there ID. (More detail will be given - just ask)

* User must be able to deignate a destination for their trip. This information will be used in conjunction with there current location, which they will set via a form. Results from searching will use this information to return relevant results that are related to their current location.

* Website will have (2) advertising areas - Area 1 is a 400x80 top ad which must be able to rotate based on current area navigated to on the Map - Area 2 is a right side area with (3) 100x100 ads which must rotate like Area 1

* Main data section of site will display a Google MAP with markers placed within retrieved from a GeoCache Server Side. The items displayed will depend on criteria selected on a form which be contained in the Left-Side Navigation area

* Form will contain search criteria a user can select/de-select and then a database will be used to display relevant items once search criteria is set

* User must be able to switch the map OFF via a link in which case results will be displayed in text only mode

** YOU MUST BE ABLE TO INTERACT WITH GOOGLE MAPS API & AJAX API **


You must be available for additional work beyond the scope of this project at an acceptable HOURLY rate PRIOR to being selected. Once I decide on a provider, an additional hourly rate will be agreed upon.

Your bid WILL ONLY INCLUDE work perforemed WITHIN the scope of this bid. Any additional work will be paid on an hourly basis in 4 hour increments.
