Description

I want to build a script which will be likely www.wallpaperstock.net. But I want to modify few functions.

1) On home page we can show featured wallpapers. Number of featured wallpapers can be set from admin section. In this site they have shown 40 featured wallpapers, 4 wallpapers in 10 row. I wnat this can be adjusted form admin section. If I want 3 wallpapers per row it also can be done. We can set maximum number of featured wallpapers from admin. In this site they have marked 40 wallpapers as featured , if I mention 30 or 50 then those will come on home page also.


2) At left side we can have categories like them. Javascript based menus / acetgories.

3) If we don't select any of our wallpapers as featured then categories will be shown as thumbnails.

4) Thumbnail size can be adjusted from admin. Suppose once we have selected 160 x 160 pixel for thumbnail. Later I decide to change it to 180 x 180 then there should be an option to generate those thumbnails again. MIght be we want 125 x 125 in later stage for reducing disk space.

5) From admin we should take backup of the database structure only. Most wallpaper script malfunction when one wants to take back. Often the script starts to backup whole wallpaper folder and crash after few times.

Backup will help us when we want to migrate to another server. We'll just move the wallpaper folder and restore databse structure in new server.

6) Often we have 500 - 1000 wallpapers in a single folder so at the time of thumbnail creation I want those resize thumbnails would be stored in a seperate folder named "thumbs". Suppose we have directory named Flower Wallpapers then thumbs folder will be created in /Flower Wallpapers/thumbs/ in run time. This thumbs folder creation and permission setting have to be controlled by the script itself.

7) Thumbnails of all albums will be changed after a specified time: This can be controlled from admin. Say if we put 8 then album thumbnail will be changed every after 8 hrs. If we put 24 then after 24 hrs. If we don't want to change thumbnails automatically then from admin there should have a function to disable it.

Might be you can put an option like this.

Enable rotating thumbnail ? Yes / no. If some one select yes then ask for time limit.

8) SEO friendly url:

If we have a category named as Nature Wallpaper then url will be www.domainname.com/nature-wallpaper.html. A sub category in Nature Wallpaper will be shown as www.domainname.com/nature-wallpaper/sub-category.html.

Pagination will be done as depending on the number of wallpapers in that category. That can be selected form admin as well. If we select 20/24 or what ever number then next page will look like www.domainname.com/nature-wallpaper-page1.html ===>>> similarly 28 th page will look like www.domainname.com/nature-wallpaper-page28.html.

If an wallpaper in Nature Wallpaper category is named as beautifulsunflower.jpg then when showing this wallpaper url will be www.domainname.com/nature-wallpaper/beautifulsunflower.html. See just jpg is being omitted when showing the wallpaper. If we have a file names as great water falls.jpg. See blank space is there in the filename. That should be replaced by "-". In this case it'll be shown as : www.domainname.com/nature-wallpaper/great-water-falls.html


9) In settings menu we should be able to put these values.

Title of the site: (this will be meta title for the site)
Meta Description:
Meta keywords:

Admin email.
Admin password:
ON/off seo urls feature.


10) Meta tags: When we'll open any category page then title will be

<Category title> - <Site Title>. If category title is set to Nature Wallpaper and from settings if we have set Site title as Free Desktop Wallpaper then

www.domainname.com/nature-wallpaper.html this page will have title as : Nature Wallpaper - Free Desktop Wallpaper. Similarly any inside page in nature wallpaper category will look like : "Water Fall Wallpaper - Nature Wallpaper - Free Desktop Wallpaper"

11) Image addition :

I want image addition function will be same as coppermine gallery. Please check that script @ www.coppermine-gallery.net.

12) Watermarking feature can be on / off from admin. We can upload a gif/png/jpg file into the system and when any wallpaper will be shown to visitors, visitors will see that watermark at bottom left portion of the wallpaper. This watermark position can be set from admin. We can chose to place that watermark at upperleft/upper right/center of the picture/bottom left/bottom roght. These 5 options will be there.

13) Any one should be able to change template of the script. I want .php based single file from where any one can change design with ease. I don't want tpl based though as it might be problem for nob user of my company.

14) http://wallpaperstock.net/fire-dragon-wallpapers_w9139.html here we have option download or view the wallpaper. You cna see that there 3 resolutions are avaiable for download. I don't think the owner has uploaded 3 different version of same wallpaper. I leave this feature upto you. How you want to do it absolutely your concern.

15) A contact us system with captcha. Send mail will be sent to the email id set from admin/settings.


Last of all we should be able to use google adsense or any other ad system any where in the template.

I'll pay via GAF escrow system. 50% advance through escrow and 50% after successful completion of the project. I'll release both payment after the project is fully completed.
