I would like to work for $30 for 8 hours (that would be $3.75 per hour). Note: I can finish most transcription jobs in less than 4 hours (per audio hour) so you won't have any hassles when it comes to that; and in cases where you are not satisfied with the job, I can do it again free of charge. I can type at the rate of 60 words per minute and faster when needed so an hour of audio would be back to you in no time. I am available daily from 5pm Manila time onwards Rates are negotiable

Dear Dataoutsource - I would be very interested in being considered for a transcription post with your new company. I have 25 years administrative experience and although no transcription experience per se, am an excellent and fast audio-typist (my record was 7 1 hour tapes in a day!). My speed has lowered somewhat, currently 60 words a minute but the more I do the faster I become! However, I believe I could turn a 1 hour tape around in about 3 hours, 4 maximum. I am currently available 24/7 and as I live in Spain now, 1 hour ahead of GMT. I do hope you will consider me and I will PMB you with my current CV. I estimate that it will take a maximum of 3 hours to transcribe 1 audio hour. I based my estimate on unforseen situations which may arise, such as a thick accent, speaking fast, or background noise, as it will take time to go back and listen to the sentance again. However, if it doesn't take the above estimated time, I will charge the lesser.
