Description

I need someone to work with my flash animator in order to create a simple quiz program. He is handling the animation so I need someone to handle the simple PHP or XML portion of it. These are quiz questions that teenagers will answer about certain book projects.

Here's how it works:

ON THE FRONT END
(Working with the flash animator I already have), First, the teenagers will select whether they want to choose the animated girl character or the animated boy character.

Then they enter their first and last name and their email address (or teacher's email address).

Then they select which book they'd like to do the quiz on.

The game quiz show begins. The animated character welcomes them to to quiz game show. They press START GAME and the first multiple question starts.If they get it right the animated character cheers them on, if they get it wrong the animated character sighs and shakes his head.

They continue going until they've finished their first set of 10 questions, if they answer these all correctly they move to the next level, if they don't the computer randomly selects more questions for them until they've gotten at least 10 correct then moves them to the next level until they reach the 3rd and last level and they see their score. When they reach the end of each level the animated character cheers them on. When they've passed all 3 levels the animated character does a little dance and really cheers them on like crazy.

The program then emails them their name and their score and how many they got wrong and how many the got right. If they don't enter an email at the beginning then it sends to the default email address.

At any time they can quit the quiz show.


ON THE BACK END
On the back end in a user-friendly system I want to be able to easily add an unlimited amount of quizzes. So maybe I'll set up a quiz about a book called DOG BOOK and maybe next week I'll want to add another quiz for a book called CAT BOOK or whatever, I should be able to add the multiple choice quiz questions for each book on my own. I want to be able to add my quiz questions and of course correct answers too.

Each quiz has 3 levels. Each level has 10 questions each which the computer randomly selects to ask the teenager. I will add a pool of say 40 questions about each book which the computer will randomly select to ask them (a total of 30 questions per book). The teens get 1 point per correct answer and at the end of the quiz they get to see how many points they earned.
