We are looking for talented Java specialists who can develop a JAVA BASED TYPING SPEED TEST and provide design assistance with the best solution.

I guess I should provide a full specification, but since the developer will be providing a solution similar to one that can accessed, it is not needed.

Some specific I have to hand:

Timeline is:

SKILLPROVER INTRODUCTION ---> response.redirect?pc=PASSCODE -----> TYPING TEST -----> response.redirect ----> SKILLPROVER EPILOGUE -----> CLOSE BROWSER

The PASSCODE is your key to updating the database with the speed metrics so it's at global scope.

Example of the test starting would be at skillprover.com/test. This starts the environment in accordance with Skillprover test taking.

I can give a passcode to show at the point where your test takes over; the description page [start test], this fires a URL via response.redirect TO the Typing application you will develop.

There will be 3 fixed typing tests each lasting 1m 30s.

I HAVE NOT SET UP THE DATABASE SCHEMA YET, SO IN THE TEST HEADER USE HARD CODING THUS:

TEST HEADER: 120 CHARACTERS e.g. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"
TEST BODY: UP TO 1000 CHARACTERS e.g. "The story of the sleepy lion. Once upon a time blah blah .."

BUTTON START TEST <writes to DB i will provide code that set the test status to start>

This will be 3 times, so terminate once the timer has expired or the taker has finished and move to the next test.

During the test, count the number of BACKSPACE, LEFT ARROW , if possible.

Metrics
-------
Typing speed in Words per Minute (obviously this is done in real time)
And Accuracy, % of words matched int TEST BODY delimited by whitespace
& of backspace, left arrow characters to actual alphanumeric, numeric and punctuation

After the final test, a URL will be provided to response.direct to.

NOTE THE ABOVE IS A LOOSE INTERPRETATION, BECAUSE CERTAIN ASPECTS MAY CHANGE. THE PRICE IS FOR A GOOD WORKING APPLICATION, WE WILL WORK TOGETHER.
