Description

The task is to create a simple to use configuration tool that outputs a swf loader that can be added to any flash document and when live on the internet it will load the specified content (hence configuration tool).

Only basic info needs to get "embedded" into the .swf loader as more data may be configured with an xml file.

Web based. Flex preferred. Upon successful completion of this project we may want a user management system created to work with this tool.

Example of usage would be as follows.
1. user places content on web server. makes not of location (url)
2. open program. enter location of file to load
3. input parameter.
4. export

the result will be 2 xml files and a swf
the swf is a swf loader and gets added to flash doc.
the xml gets placed on the server next to content that's being loaded default. optionally during the initial configuration process the location of the xml file may be specified if it needs to be separate from the content. 2nd xml will be a cross domain policy file. in configuration mode the domains that can link to this may also be specified, optionally.

If this project is not easily accomplished as a Flex app a cross platform mac/win program would be good. I would want a quote on the mac version first. if that goes well i will create a second project for the windows version
