Description

I run several static but related sites:

www.ehp-talotekniikka.fi
www.sahkoteknoset.fi
www.tuse.fi
www.linkki-rakentajat.fi

In 'news' (tiedotteet, ajankohtaista) section there are news about the company, and in www.linkki-rakentajat.fi news are summed up. In the frontpage there are links to latest news (4 latest).

Now I want to update and maintain this data with database (design in MS Access, attached), MySQL 4.1.20 in LAMP-server.

Task: Convert pages 1 and 4 (front, news) for reading the news from MySql db. You'll have to move MS Access database to MySQL one. The content should be added/moved from html files to database.

Also, I need instructions and help how to install all necessary php stuff to server (it runs php all right, Apache module mod_php4 4.3.9.

In addition, there should be option link 'Arkisto' (archived) in order to browse archived news, and 'Ajankohtaiset' (not archived) to switch back.

This should be easy project for experienced web developer.

This can be done quite easily and would also require an admin area where news items are added. One suggestion would be to use a CMS like textpattern where all the functions you require are included by default. If you do not want to use a CMS then I can create a couple of web screens for you to create the news items.
