Hi, Let me know the GPS receiver you would be using. Normally you would find NMEA compatible gps receivers with RS232 (serial port link) outputs. Hi. I would need a few details on the GPS; what unit would be used and how it communicates with the computer (USB, RS232? NMEA Protocol or other? Would I provide the GPS unit as well?). Also, would you provide the audio files or would I have to? This looks like a nice project do-able under 30 days. If the GPS unit is sending data a way I am used to work with, I would be ready to work on the software. I can provide the software (compiled and sources), some support on setting it up and creating maps (documents and/or live support over internet), and bug fixes/updates for a given period after then. The project is very clear. You need a program that will automatically play various MP3s depend on place/region with an optional options. All your parameters or options can be changed at anytime. I will make it flexible. I can do it very consider of user friendly, easy to use, skinable. Make the program communicate to GPS. I got advantage on electronic device communication. You can use a GPS like i-Blue 747 or Haicom Hi-204III Usb GPS receiver, or any other decice that delivers Nmea location information. I have experience in building nice User Interfaces in vb.net. You could get coordinates from Google Earth and from a grid you could edit each location for Mp3 files to play. Easy selection of the used langusage on screen, perhaps with touchscreen. Heading is one of the Nmea output sentences, so the software knows in wich direction a Mp3 has to be played.
