Description

We are in need for an experienced translator with artistic mind, vocabulary, and style that will translate voice-over text from ENGLISH to FRENCH for our movie “Stanislav Stanek, My Blues and Greens”, which will have a world premier at the International Film Festival in Montreal in August 21, 2008. The translator’s name will be in the closing credits of the movie and in our press kit. This is a sample video section from the movie: http://poeticvideo.com/videosamples/event/Terezka_export_Large.wmv. “My Blues and Greens” is a poetic portrait of the life and art of academy-trained, Czech painter, Stanislav Stanek. Employing unconventional technique to biography, “My Blues and Greens” captures the spirit of Stanek's work and the philosophy by which he lives his life through a series of stories and anecdotes in the artist's own words.
The total word count is about 6000 words.
