Description

We have a web chat site and want to add a subtle ping/beep sound when you send or receive a chat message. We need you to look online for the right sound. It should be a subtle sound, pleasing to the ear. We are looking for something really basic- a simple "ping" like sound. For some reason, we are having a difficult time finding such a basic sound on the Web. We need you to find a set of beeps/pings that you think would work well and we'll choose from those.

Please reply with how you would approach this and any questions you have on the project. Our need is immediate!

Project Definition: Search on web for audio files (.wav.,swf and similar) that have a beep-like noise. Produce 10-50 quality such beeps. Our interest is NOT in quantity, but in finding the 1 or 2 right ones.

I will not search for something on the web. I am a sounddesigner with state-of-the-art production tools and will design it for you. This will make it sound unique and top-notch. Are there any restrictions in terms of file-size, sampling-rate, duration etc.? I can generate sounds in MP3, SDII or AIFF-Format stereo, mono or surround.
