Description

I have several mp3 interviews that I need transcribed. Each interview is on average 60 minutes and contains 2 speakers with US and UK English accents.

Selected provider must have an excellent command of the English language and be reliable with a good turn around time.

Please bid for 1 hour and indicate if you are able to do further interview transcriptions (in which case please let me know your rate per minute). I may select one provider or several to complete the project.

UK English is preferred but will also consider US English

Please send sample of previous work. I will then shortlist a few providers and send a short sample of one of my interviews for transcription (around 5 minutes).

Hi I would be very interested doing this project for you. I have my own company that provides secretarial services based in the UK. I have been trading for over 4 years. I have a solid PA, and administrative background gained working at Board Level in various companies. My native language is English. I work for a number of clients, covering a broad spectrum of industry. I have advanced knowledge of MS Office and I am used to working to deadlines. I realise you would like a provider who has experience in transcribing audio media. I have extensive experience in this field over 20 years preparing documents such as tenders, sponsorship documentation, contracts, reports and interviews gained whilst working as PA to some of my current clients. These audio files were long in some instances, needed accuracy, and a very strong attention to detail. I am happy to complete a 5 min sample and sign a NDA if requested. For transcribing audio media files, I use Express Scribe with a foot pedal. My rate per audio hour is $35.00 or 58 cents per audio minute. I am very good at transcribing and provide a cost effective service. I will make sure that you have a document of an excellent standard. The document will be provided in MS Word. I can be contacted easily and never turn down work as I am in business and need to earn. Current WPM 90 with an accuracy of 98%. I can turn around a 1 hour audio file in 36 hours easily. I have provided a bid for 1 hour of audio as you may wish to award your 8 hours of audio to several providers to meet your deadline. I can supply references on request from current UK clients. I'm a transcriber with loads of experience in all forms of transcription for a wide range of clients which include doctoral/grad students, Hollywood production houses, radio/TV show hosts, medical practitioners, lawyers, financial consultants, etc. I use Express Scribe and a variety of related transcription software which has the ability to play most audio file formats. I use a foot pedal universally designed to work with all my transcription software and utilize headphones. I also have a set up with high-speed Internet, and am familiar with downloading from an FTP or HTTP site. I bid $25 per audio/video recorded hour. I have transcribed multiple types of material including biographies, sermons, real estate seminars, homeowner association meetings, and focus groups, as well as interviews for multiple clients in the United States, Canada, UK and Australia. To whom it may concern. I think my past work and skills will be perfect for what you require. I have trained and worked as an Official Court Reporter / Transcriptionist which required 100% accuracy of english language as well as efficient turn over time. It also involved transcribing conversations from two people up to seven or eight at a time. With a typing speed of 80wpm and 100% accuracy as well as a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language (with emphasis on English Grammar) I can promise high quality results and promise you won't be disappointed. I live in New Zealand amongst a diverse range of cultures and people ranging in different accents, and I feel I won't have any problems with UK/US accents.
