Description

1.Overview: I am looking to employ a number of freelance writers over a long term. The basic job of each writer will be to either rewrite articles, between 400 and 600 words and over a wide range of topics, or to write original articles (also between 400 and 600 words). I will assign some of the weekly articles, while the rewriter may choose their own additional articles to write or rewrite. Each writer must be proficient in English, and each article must read as if it were written by a native English speaker. There will be a minimum of 5 articles per week required for employment, with no maximum limit. Notably, there will be bonus payments offered, as well as a gradual payment increase over time (all detailed below).

2.Articles: All articles must meet certain criteria. Firstly, a series of keywords or key phrases must appear in the article. They must appear in the title, the first sentence, and a few times throughout the body of the article. Keywords must be used in such a way that reads normally and is not awkward. Secondly, the rewrites must be at least 85% unique (they will be reviewed through CopyScape). Thirdly, articles must be written as if by a native English speaker. Grammar, spelling, and punctuation are VERY IMPORTANT. Additionally, simply replacing words and sentences with synonyms will not be considered a rewrite. On the rare occasion where citation is necessary, you will be expected to cite sources. Finally, certain optimizations must be made to original articles or article rewrites to make them viable for my purposes. I will detail this for any employees in the future.

3.Payment: The standard rate of payment will be $1.25 per 400 to 600 word original article or rewrite. Payments will be made via PayPal on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. As long as your work meets the criteria outlined above, I will make it a point to disburse payment at the end of every weekday. If your work fails to meet the proper criteria, you will be asked to correct it and resubmit it as soon as possible.

4.Payment Bonuses: To ensure a long-lasting working relationship, per-article payments will increase gradually over time. If at the end of each week I am greatly satisfied with the overall quality of your work, I will offer you a separate payment bonus. These possible weekly bonuses will be partially determined by the way your articles perform for me; thus, any bonuses will reflect a higher quality of writing. Finally, any weekly bonuses may scale upward with the increased length of our working relationship.

5.Other: The rights to any articles submitted on behalf of the outlined agreement are transferred exclusively to me. Upon transfer to me, articles cannot be resold, reproduced, or reused by the their author. While I'm fair to my employees and will make an effort to cut some slack depending on the situation, I'll always expect that my terms are met (high quality, timeliness, et cetera). Finally, I'll be available about 18 hours a day, 5 days a week through a variety of mediums (AIM, e-mail).

6.Interested? Contact me with a writing sample of 400 to 600 words. If it's up to par, I will send you a document containing basic orientation and an article for you to rewrite. If the rewritten article is satisfactory, you will be paid and employed thereafter (please remember that 5 articles per week are the minimum requirement for long-term employment).
