Bid On This Project

Description

I contracted for a web site that I could view source code of and self-teach html, css, use of ftp. Firmly stated I wanted to manage it on my own. I designed it, wrote the copy and even did some of the basic html coding. The designer left me with a website that cannot be changed, not even to correct some spacing problems. I was left with choice of either buying a $550.00 software program plus an ftp software program and paying him to teach me how to use them OR paying him $30 per month to maintain it for me.

I need to have a professional look at the source code and tell me what would be the advisable way to handle this and especially if there is some way to fix it so I can access and make changes. I want also to know if he (previous professional) still retains the ability to disable my website. I'm guessing time required to be approximately an hour or less.

Thank you.
