I have a live site running osCMax v2.0 RC3 with the Standard Paypal IPN for Premier accounts. Many customers that aren't familiar with PayPal are confused when they are redirected to PayPal for payment,and don't know what to do, so they abandon their carts at a high rate. And it's not obvious you can pay without opening a PayPal account and a lot of people don't want to open a PayPal account.

I turned on the Pay Without An Account option in paypal for a couple days and completed sales more than doubled, but the orders did not register in the cart. I would receive the payment and the paypal email saying how much they paid and what they ordered, but the stock numbers were cutting off the last few digits, and it did not specify attributes like colors and sizes, so on some orders I couldn't tell what the customer wanted. And I would have to manually enter the order in the cart and contact customers for particulars, which isn't good. When I googled for a fix, the only one I found was to set the Paypal invoice to an aggregate sum, and i prefer it itemized (for example in case it doesn't register in the cart).So I turned it back off and sales immediately dropped off again.

I am considering upgrading to a Business Account but except for Xmas time I only have a couple orders a day so I'm not sure if I would gain enough to offset the monthly fees. PayPal is my only credit card processor.

I need someone to look at my site and tell me what my options are and recommend what they think would be best for my situation and why, and then upgrade my site to that script and test that it is working.

I also have some other minor problems in my store, such as when a customer has a coupon it shows as deducted in the store but not when they go to pay at PayPal, and if a coupon is only good if they buy a certain dollar amount, it will accept it anyway even if the amount is less.

My oscMax contrib that lets you assign attributes to products all from one page doesn't have a save button, so you can't use it.

My affiliate program contrib says it has multi-tiers,but I don't see where they are reported or how they are tracked. I think there is a newer version available now that might fix it.

Also I have installed the SEO contrib that changes the URLs so they don't have id numbers so affiliates cant find the product they want to create links for individual products, so somewhere on the description page it needs to give that info.

But my main priority now is to get the payment system working better for the next 10 days, which are the busiest days of the year, without having my site down for more than a very brief time.

Once the payment system is fixed, I will hire the sucessful bidder to fix all this other stuff after the holidays.

This bid is just for straightening out the payment system and we can negotiate the rest later.
