Description

Hi, I have a small holiday rental web site which I take online payments for individual properties for different owners. I have a database which I can connect to, to download the individual bookings via an odbc client which sends the information to filemaker pro. What I want the database to do is, tell me how much I owe to each different owner for each property and keep a record of whats been paid to who. I have managed to create a crude database myself which works, but I would like a more polished solution and I don't have the time to learn anymore filemaker pro stuff.
When I take a booking I normally take between 20% and 50% of the total amount to secure the booking and i then take my commision of 10% from that and pass the remainder of the money onto the owner. The information I extract via the ODBC contains contains all the information, guest name , date, prepayment amount , total amount, which property, etc.... but i just need to link this to the owner of the property and total up the payments I need to make. At the moment I been using 'saved finds' to separate the different properties and total these up. I believe I need 2 tables one for the owners information and the other for the bookings. I think this is a fairly simple project for someone who knows filemaker pro. I have posted some screen grabs here:
