Florida tax = 6%
Then an additiona amount will be added to the tax amount depending which county in florida you are in, so if you are in dade (1% add) county then an additional 1% will be charge to the buyer for tax so we will charge a total of 7% to the total amount of the purchase. ., if we were in So we were in Jackson county then an additional 1.5 % will be added to the tax so we will l charge a total of 7.5% to the total amount of the purchase. shipping is not tax. We have all the values in a table.

This modification to the ecomerce package we have need to do the following:

1. Provide the user a dropdown to select their county only if the user select the state of florida (FL) The dropdown will need to have the values to choose from a db table(tblSurTax) we have created.

2. Then when the user continues the Checkout process the software needs to check wether to add the additional tax rate to the 6% rate or not by either checking the database (tblSurTax) by reading values from the previous form and show the final tax amount to the user so we can charge the correct tax amount.
