Description

We need a web designer for our expansion of our new web service www.studentbid.com it currently runs off the xcent xcauction system and is very customized. we would need someone to be able to work out the kinks of the site to make it a little more user friendly and to make the layout a little bit more sleek.

right now we are only open to seven colleges in boston but we want to expand to some schools in philadelphia allowing only students with the correct .edu email addresses from the school to use. also this should be on the same database as the boston site and should be connected while we want to create some privacy options to keep the sites semi exclusive. you should be able to have a choice of posting an auction just in your city or to both cities.

also we want a real estate system to be put in where people without valid email adresses can create landlord accounts to post classifieds of properties they own. while they should be able to create accounts this should be a different account than the student accoutns and they should not be able to see any of the students information or profiles and no information should be given unless it is from the student. the landlords should only be able to post housing listings with many pictures and the ability to pick times for appointments to see the place or to call if none of the appointments are convenient.

we also want in the registration an option about how you heard about studentbid so we can keep track of how our marketing is working out.

also a few small touchups to the site.
