Description:	THIS PROJECT WAS PARTIALLY CODED BY ANOTHER COMPANY BUT NOT COMPLETED. An experienced AJAX developer should be able to complete this job in one or two days. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I want to add a Chat Room page to my site (www.hotamateurphotos.com). I want it to feel real-time by using the Javascript XMLHTTP.request object. The page should have the exact look and feel of other pages on my site, with the logo and navigation bar at the top (I can provide that code). Users going to the page will already be logged in and verified by the code in the navigation bar. I am looking for the page to be divided into 4 sections, a vertical panel on the left side, a vertical panel on the right side, the main chat area in the middle section and a bottom area. The left panel would have thumbnail images (one for each member in the chat room). If there is no image available for a particular member, it would display "No Photo". Each thumbnail image would have to be resized from a full-size image with the member's UserID underneath the thumnail image. The images should be sorted in order by when they last chatted (most recent first). When a member navigates off the chat room page, they're image should not display. The main chat room should scroll up as comments are entered. Each member in the room should have a unique color assigned to their comments. Old comments should drop off after they are about 10 minutes old. The right side panel should list all the chat rooms with a "Create a Chat Room" feature so that members can create a new chat room. When a member clicks on a chat room the other sections shoudl update to that new room. The bottom area would be where a member actually enters their comment. ------------------------------------------------------------- Other ideas for improvements are appreciated.
