Description

Design and implement a “beach status magnet”. This includes design and development of a single file for visitor download and install. Upon install, a beach status box will be displayed on the user’s computer, either on desktop or as an icon in the bottom control bar. Box will display status of beaches user has selected; up to three beaches will be displayed. When beach results are updated on the Testing results page of laportecountybeaches.com, the data displayed within this box will also be updated.
User will visit page to click a link and obtain the downloadable/installable beach results magnet. When link is clicked, file can be saved or executed. Sign-up will include selection of up to three beaches only; no other user information will be requested or retained.
We already have the beaches set up in a MYSQL database.
