What we would need from you is an Asp.net web service ( .Net 3.5) to produce a standard xml output of a certain amount of products ( to be handed over by parameters) by using the Zanox API Webservices for product search

The search should produce results

derived either from ( parameters)

a) A search for one or two keywords
b) A search for a specific category http://wiki.zanox.com/en/ProductCategories

The following data are to output:

Basically ALL Product data:

Category http://wiki.zanox.com/en/ProductCategories
Subcategories( if applicable)
Product ID
Product title
Product description ( short)
Product url ( to product page of vendor)
Product image( 3 sitzes available – we have to be able to hand over which size we need small medium or large)
Product price
EAN
Currency
Region information ( handed over parameter that has to be matched)

Information on product is mandatory, Products without URL, ID, title, price or picture will be discarded

AND additional report data for these products:

Views, ( numeric value)
Clicks, ( numeric value)
Sales( numeric value)
Leads( numeric value)

Please check if the following data are available two:

Start date ( convert to days since – numeric value)
Expiration date ( convert to days until – numeric value)
Adrank ( numeric)

If yes they have to be included.

We intend to develop a flash content slider that calls for new data from this service

If this goes well we might have a second request for ad extraction from Zanox webservices

This Zanox web service is utilizing 3 type of methods. It means we could select one of them (REST, SOAP, and Connect). For better coding and compatibility access, I recommended to use SOAP/WSDL. It can be invoked in easy from Web Service we will write on your server. I will use any scripting you prefer, could be PHP or ASP.NET. It is depending on your server type. If Linux based then PHP, otherwise ASP.NET. Let me know if you are interested with this method. I will be ready for open discussion regarding to this project.
