Bid On This Project

Description

I'm reposting this project due to a missing attachment. Sorry for the inconvenience.

My developers are busy on other projects so I'm looking for basic functionality similar to the website in the attached document. Data will come from either an XML file or MS Access database (your choosing). You can use any map points you want- I will customize later after you deliver the code.

I'm not looking to spend much on this project (just need a good base to start with). Please use existing code or the source code from the site listed below or referenced in the attachment to use as a base.

http://maps.forum.nu/gm_markers_from_db.php.txt

You can quote development using PHP, but my preference is to use ASP.NET.

Please make sure you view the attachment for additional functionality we want included.

I'm looking for a 7 day turnaround on this project.

Regards,

03/06/2008 at 2:07 EST:
we are not looking for RSS feed or to use any craigslist data. I was simply using the site as an example of search/filter capabilities we would want.

All our data would be stored in XML file or database. Our properties (around 100 in total) are located in a small area (approx 10 square miles). Our data also doesn't change very often, although we may add a new property every week or so.

So I need a map built that would display all our map points. Users would then be able to search or filter these results. We also would want property details displayed in the sidebar just like in the sample.

I've already got this code written and being used here: http://www.presidentsdayhockeytournament.com/Map.aspx It's pulling the hotels from a SQL Server database but could easily change to an Access back end. Also, the icons I am using for the push pins can easily be changed.
