Hello All -

The next project our team needs some help with is this restaraunt delivery and order site: http://76.12.78.171 . You are only viewing the font end, as the backend area that you cant access is here : http://76.12.78.171/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fMenuSelection%2findex.aspx .

There are pages built in aspx 1.1 compiled into vb files compiled into a dll file that this backend runs off of. See the uncompiled code that you will be working with in the attached zip file.

Basically, a customer looks at a restaraunt menu, is able to add how many of each dish they want, click submit, and a faxed copy is sent to the restaraunt, and added to a database. An email receipt is sent to the user who is logged in.

My client needs the following fixed (to start):
• Form Submission issue – When the website form is submitted, only one instance of the order must saved to the db, and faxed. Currently, when a customer places an order, sporatically multiple instances of the transaction are faxed, and added to the database. I need to make sure only 1 fax occurs to prevent duplicate orders that happen sometimes now.
• Receipt/Confirmation page - Create a page after the users submits their order, where the order is listed and then the user can confirm it before the fax is sent out - sort of a receipt confirmation page. You can use the code that already exists that copies this information into an email - only it must go on screen before submitted. Doing this may ultimatley fix the first issue. Also – We must make sure a database entry occurs when the user confirms the order.

Very Important - we must copy the database and all files elsewhere to do testing here, as we cannot test this out on the live site. I have a test fax we can use if needed.

Please let me know if any clarification is helpful here. There will be more work on this project and others for the right bidder!! Please send examples of similar work, and bid appropriately as I am not sure how much something like this entails.
