Description

I am reposting my project here. I hope I can get a better service provider this time. My last developer just messedup every thing.

Attached is an ASP.Net application which is required to be fixed. First of all, it does not run under IIS. Previous developer used to run it through .Net's builtin webserver and that's why it cannot be hosted on any hosting service. If try to run on IIS, no reports can be viewed and they generate error. There may be more bugs and all are needed to be fixed.

My budget is limited for this project and need it to be wrapedup ASAP. I will give you the access to my hosting and you will have to setup all the site there. You will also have to provide a documentation describing to setup the application.

Payment:

I will escrow the payment on start and will release only after satisfaction of my client (I have learnt a horrible lesson from my last developer)

P.S: Prompt communications is a must. Preferably you should be available on MSN or Yahoo IM during development.

Hello, I bet all that is wrong with your project is that iis hasn't been set to use version 2.0 of Asp.Net instead of 1.1. It is written in 2.0 which was just recently released. I wouldn't be surprised if most hosting services aren't even supporting it yet. I can fix that easily for you if thats the case. I didn't have time to look at the program, but something like that would be the reason .Net isn't picking it up... not because of the built in webserver. I've worked in .Net 2.0 for several months now. For 50, after I get that fixed... I can look over the code for you for a couple hours to see if I see any bugs. I probably can't fix anything major in that time... but you'll know what you got and it'll run at least. Thanks, Tony www.anatomywebdevelopment.com
