I have build a blogging engine

Whenever my blog is updated I want to go to the following page:
http://pingomatic.com/

which basically tells weblogs and others that the blog has been updated -

The problem is that my page never gets visited by weblogs etc. -

Will you be able to make the blog searchable by weblogs and others?
