Description

I have developed an ASP.NET custom control named “TextBoxList” Control. This control is similar to CheckBoxList control. Now, the logic behind this control is as follows:
1] There is a Collection Type property available named “Data”. This Collection Type property takes a class named DataItem type value where the class type contains two string property. One string is for “Label” and another string is for “TextBox Value”.
2] When The Collection type property “Data” is populated, it renders a table where a list of Textbox is shown followed by a Label Control and the Label Text is set by the first string property and the TextBox’s Text is provided by the second string property of the Collection type property.

I have attached the project solution as a ZIP file.

it is working fine. But the problem is as follows:

Problems
===========================================================

Part 1
---------

I want that, when TextBox’s value is changed by the user, The property “Data” (Collection) should contain the value according to the new TextBox’s values after the post back. But it is not doing so.

Basically you will have to implement PostBack interfaces where after the postBack you will have to collect the new values of TextBoxes and update the Collection Property. When the Collection property is updated, The Render method will automatically show the latest edited values of the TextBoxes.

Part 2
--------
When I place an instance of this control to the ASPX page in Design Mode and add some data value (Collection Type) by Property Editor then the Label and TextBoxes shows the new data. Then if I go to the Source View of the Aspx form and come back to Design View, I see a mess up. At this moment, I have used Try-Catch All for Design Time rendering so Mess Up is apparently solved but it does not show the Data. Then If I change any property values of the control and save and Build and then if I try to resize the control then I see that the data is shown again.

I want this problem to be fixed too.
